some of the advantages the British had is they had experienced solders and leaders for the military, they had a lot of wealth so they could buy more supplies for their soldiers, many colonist were still loyal to Britain, outnumbered the american's in most of the battles. Some of the disadvantages is they were 3,000 miles away from home, America was not a familiar place to them, their country had been in war for years. Some of America's advantages are they were fighting for their own cause, they had militia with fighting styles, and they had amazing leader ship of George Washington. Some of their disadvantages are they had very few ships, didn't have experienced solders, they had constant storage for supplies, and neighbors were fighting against neighbors.
